Susan Timani
Susan began dancing at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire where she choreographed and danced in a student dance company for 4 years, focusing mainly on jazz, ballet and modern styles. She graduated with a degree in education. After moving to Houston, Susan studied dance at the University of Houston for one year, and it was there she was introduced to ballroom dancing.
Susan teaches many styles of dance including Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Salsa, and Hustle. In her lessons, she enjoys discovering the best way to teach each student in order to help them become the dancer they want to be. Susan is knowledgeable, intuitive, and creative. She loves to laugh and brings a sense of fun and playfulness to her lessons and classes.

Rabih Timani
Rabih never imagined that dance would change his life when he enrolled in a college ballroom dance class “just to meet his P.E. requirements.” Today, he sees dance as a vehicle to transform and enrich the lives of his students. Rabih brings his love for dance and for people to dance floor. His lessons are challenging and fun.
His students describe him as warm, personable, encouraging, inspiring, and incredibly patient. He is a coach who truly has his student’s best interest at heart. Rabih encourages his students to find joy in the journey as they travel towards their goals and dreams on the dance floor. Rabih is a licensed Ballroom L.I.S.T.D teacher and continues to train, staying current with today’s dance trends. He enjoys participating in dance competitions with students who strive for more. Rabih teaches both International and American styles of dance as well as Bachata and Salsa.

KATHARINE (KAY) GORDON
Kay began dancing at the age of two with ballet and moved on to gymnastics, belly dance, various martial arts, and flamenco. After college, she taught social dances including Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, and Cumbia. She has continued to train in other styles including Ballroom, Rhythm, Country, and Swing. Kay has a passion for teaching. Kay’s skills lie in her ability to break down and cohesively articulate the biomechanics of movement. She is patient, kind, energetic, and can accommodate all learning styles.
